Brunch with Stacey Dooley

Untitled design.jpgUntitled design.jpg
In June, we were delighted to mark the launch of the Stacey Dooley Collection with a delicious brunch and flower pressing workshop. Hosted at Wild by Tart in Belgravia, London, the event brought together a few friends of Stacey and Arena Flowers to celebrate the new collection, with a beautiful floral display starring Stacey’s five bouquets.

Over a tasty meal of poached eggs, sweet potato hash and chia pudding, guests enjoyed an introduction to the range from Stacey and our CEO John Hackett, before partaking in a flower-pressing workshop hosted by Patti from @pressedmeadow. Using at-home kits from Studio Wald, as well as some of our beautiful fresh flowers, the guests pressed their own petals with guidance from Patti on technique and design.

A beautiful way to preserve a memorable bouquet, flower pressing was the perfect activity for an event that celebrated bouquets designed with longevity in mind – each arrangement is made to be enjoyed initially as a statement bouquet, and then decanted into bud vases to prolong the life of each stem. This creative styling inspired the table setting at our event, which featured beautiful bud vases alongside Glass & Wick candles.

“I'm thrilled to announce our partnership with Stacey Dooley through this special collection of bouquets that brings together everything we both love,” says John Hackett, CEO of Arena Flowers. “Stacey's passion for beautiful flowers and thoughtful design perfectly matches our approach at Arena Flowers. We also share something even more important – a genuine commitment to treating flower growers fairly and sourcing responsibly to protect our planet.

“Stacey has created a range that's wildly fresh and different. Each bouquet reminds me of the best flower market finds, without the 4am start time! This is what happens when you combine a shared love of flowers with a passion for sustainability.”
